1. Introduction & Scope
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and evaluation of the Mijatovic platform, including the marketing website, the Adriaticum language workspace, account management interfaces, and developer platform tooling (collectively, the “Services”).
Mijatovic is an independent software project operated by Predrag Mijatović. Mijatovic is not a registered company or incorporated legal entity.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
2. Eligibility
The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. You must be at least 18 years old to create or use an account. Date of birth is collected at registration to confirm age eligibility. There is no parental-consent or minor account flow. You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts & Security
When you register an account, you must provide accurate and complete registration information, including your email address, name, and date of birth. Registration may require agreement to applicable Terms and acknowledgment of the Privacy Policy. Whether conversations may later be used to improve Adriaticum is a separate optional preference, off by default, and is not required to create an account. Google and Apple sign-in are not currently enabled. If those options are later configured, those providers would authenticate you and Mijatovic would receive the identity details they supply.
You may also use Chat as a guest without creating an account. Guest conversations are ephemeral and are not persistently saved as conversation history. They are not stored in localStorage as history and are not stored as durable database conversations or messages. They disappear after the active session or page lifecycle. Signed-in conversations are account-backed and persist in the database, including messages, titles, pin state, and attachments where those features are supported.
Updated legal terms may require renewed acceptance when applicable.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Mijatovic promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or compromise of your credentials.
4. Permitted Use
The Services are provided for evaluation, development, and personal or organizational use in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws and regulations.
5. Prohibited Misuse
You agree not to misuse the Services. These restrictions target abuse and unlawful activity. They are not intended to prohibit legitimate programming, research, cybersecurity study, creative writing, or discussion of controversial topics.
You must not use the Services for:
- Unlawful activity.
- Unauthorized access, hacking, or bypassing security, rate limits, or access controls.
- Spam, abuse, or deliberate disruption of the Services.
- Fraud, phishing, identity theft, or stealing credentials or private information.
- Violating the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others.
- Serious harmful or criminal misuse.
6. Model Outputs, Search & Limitations
Adriaticum generates natural language text based on statistical modeling. AI-generated outputs may be incorrect or incomplete. Mijatovic should not be treated as a guaranteed authoritative source. You should independently verify important information before relying on it.
For factual or informational requests, the product is designed to automatically use a Search grounding layer where that layer is available. There is no ordinary user Search on/off control. Search results and retrieved web content are external, untrusted information. Search can improve grounding; it does not guarantee correctness. This draft describes the intended service and does not claim that production Search is currently publicly deployed.
- Model-generated outputs are probabilistic and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or outdated information.
- Outputs do not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.
- You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of any model output before relying on it or using it in important decisions.
7. User Content & License
As between you and Mijatovic, you retain any rights you have in content you submit, including prompts, messages, and uploaded files (“User Content”).
You grant Mijatovic a non-exclusive license solely to host, process, transmit, and display User Content to the extent necessary to provide, maintain, and operate the Services on your behalf.
You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit User Content to the Services and that your content does not violate applicable law or infringe the rights of third parties.
8. Developer API Credentials
Platform tooling may allow you to generate developer API keys. This draft does not claim that a public production API is currently live. If you generate credentials, you must treat them as confidential. A secret is presented once upon generation and must be stored securely.
You are responsible for activity performed using your credentials. Credentials that appear compromised or that are used in violation of these Terms may be revoked. Confirming account deletion also revokes API keys. Restoring an account does not reactivate previously revoked keys.
9. Beta & Preview Status
The platform, models, and developer tooling are offered as preview releases under active development. Features, response characteristics, rate limits, and availability may change or be adjusted as system testing progresses.
10. Availability & Changes
The Services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Mijatovic does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue components of the Services as operational needs require.
11. Suspension & Limitation
Mijatovic may restrict or suspend access when there is a reasonable basis to believe the Services are being abused or that security or other users are at risk, including material breach of these Terms.
12. Account Deletion & Restoration
You may request deletion of your account from Profile after explicit confirmation. Delete Account is not immediate. Confirmation records the request time and starts a 30-day pending-deletion period from that timestamp. Permanent deletion is scheduled for after that 30-day recovery period.
During the pending period, account data still exists so the account may be restored. Normal authenticated product access, including Chat, Platform, and API use, is blocked. API keys are revoked when deletion is requested. Data from a pending-deletion account is not selected into new model-improvement or training exports.
Before permanent deletion becomes due, you may Restore Account from Profile. Restore cancels scheduled deletion, restores normal account access, keeps existing account data, and preserves historical model-improvement eligibility snapshots. Restore does not reactivate previously revoked API keys.
After the 30-day recovery period, if the account is not restored, the account is scheduled for permanent deletion. Permanent deletion is performed by a trusted server-side process and may complete at the next scheduled finalizer run after the due time rather than at the exact due second. The system then permanently deletes user-linked account data, including the authentication account, profile, date of birth, model-improvement preference, conversations, messages, pins, account attachments, API keys, account usage records, legal acceptance records, any staff role, and other owner-linked account records. Published Blog articles may remain as editorial content with the auth-user relationship detached. This draft does not describe hidden retention of deleted account data.
13. Intellectual Property
Mijatovic and its licensors retain their respective rights in the service, branding, software, models, documentation, and other protected materials. Except for the limited license granted to use the Services in accordance with these Terms, nothing herein transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
14. Third-Party Services & Editorial Content
The Services may rely on third-party infrastructure and, where Search grounding is available, on external web search sources. Retrieved search material is untrusted third-party content. Mijatovic does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party websites or services.
Public editorial articles may be published on the Mijatovic Blog. After permanent account deletion, published articles may remain as editorial content with the former author account relationship detached.
15. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Predrag Mijatović, who operates the independent Mijatovic project, is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business opportunities, data, use, or goodwill arising from use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
17. Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be revised periodically. When updates are published, the revised version will be made accessible with an updated revision status. Continued use of the Services after revisions take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Republika Srpska and the applicable laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available to users under applicable law.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the competent courts in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, except where mandatory applicable law gives the user the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
